Rx Racing is a one make RallyCross race series built specifically to be quick low cost and fun for both drivers and spectators. Every race is quick and competitive with full grids of 8 drivers every corner, every start is a lottery and no one knows who will exit the winner.
The RX150 car itself is a space frame open wheeler of the rallycross world with a Honda Fireblade engine producing 150 BHP is a car that weighs 460kg. The result is over 300BHP/Tonne and a 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. The fact that RX150’s are light means they corner quickly and look spectacular when they do.
To be quick in one of these you must have good throttle control, have great car control skills and be smooth on the tarmac.
The race series is full of colour too and spotting the difference between the buggies is easy. They attract a lot of attention from large crowds of sometime over 10,000 at race meeting not just because of the sound of the engine but the flamboyant cornering and close racing.
